Responsibilities… * Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive art and design&technology (DT) lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE students, incorporating a range of teaching strategies and resources. * Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with national standards and promotes creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills development. * Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring * Assess student progress and attainment * Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. * Provide additional support and intervention strategies for students who require assistance in mastering art and DT concepts and techniques. * Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, respect, and creativity * Implement consistent and fair disciplinary procedures in accordance with school policies, addressing any behavioural issues promptly and effectively.
