Our client designs, develops and manufactures product solutions based in Bedford. The company has been established for almost 50 years, experiencing a healthy growth year upon year. They are dynamic, fast paced, and engineering led, operating in a wide spread of markets including medical, battery, process and food packaging. This role is predominantly workshop based, however the successful candidate will be expected to be away from home from time to time in the UK and Overseas (mainly Europe) for installs, servicing an repairs. Duties will include but are not limited to: Installing and commissioning bespoke machines, sub-assemblies and components into customer facilities Training operators and engineers for correct and safe operation of equipment Supporting customers remotely, attending site for breakdown, repair, service and support Auditing customer machines and premises Provide feedback to design engineers for improvements and modifications and any updates to drawings and instructions when changes are made. General workshop duties as Assembly and testing of heat-sealing components and assemblies Goods in inspection Goods out packaging and crating /palletising Assisting colleagues as required with their duties Collection and delivery of goods Receiving and directing incoming calls Producing assembly kits for productionKey Skills A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and an understanding of both Good communication skills Motivated Adaptable Team player Willingness to complete jobs outside of the job role Able to travel in the UK and Overseas Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering If you have the above skills and experience, please apply now INDKB
