We are seeking a highly skilledCloud Engineer to join our Enterprise Business Delivery team. This role is pivotal in managing the technologies and standards for Cloud services, including AWS EFTPOS payments systems. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and assuring high:performance AWS EFTPOS payment systems. The day to day : Engage with stakeholders at various levels to manage expectations and outcomes. : Develop cloud applications and infrastructure solutions that align with agility, automation, and cloud principles. : Design payment applications leveraging expertise in EFTPOS card payment domains and standards (ISO 8583 and AS 2805). : Collaborate with customers and acquirers for EFTPOS payment message specification agreements. : Manage application releases and configuration using AWS native services. : Define and deploy operating systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS. : Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across various application domains and platforms. : Conduct pre:production acceptance testing to ensure quality assurance. : Implement automation and DevOps solutions to enhance managed solutions, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Your skills to pay the bills : Expertise in cloud engineering and EFTPOS card payments. : Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud deployment/management services. : Strong technical knowledge of EFTPOS standards and card payments, including JPOS, ISO 8583, and AS 2805. : Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and AWS CI/CD services. : Solid network experience with route tables, access control lists, firewalls, NAT, HTTP, DNS, and IP/OSI networking. : Expertise in RESTful Web Services, XML, and JSON. : Strong skills in automation of build and deployment pipelines using BitBucket, Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS CodeCommit. : Hands:on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Terraform. : Proficiency in Java (Kotlin/Python experience is a plus). : Strong understanding of Application and DevOps (CI/CD) concepts in modern SDLC within AWS environments. : Knowledge of AWS data platforms and tools for real:time reporting, including AWS S3, Quicksight, Glue, Athena, Kinesis Data Streams, and DynamoDB.
