Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to 225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2. Woodside Energy is Australias leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: The Craft Supervisor : Mechanical is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the Mechanical discipline. Ensures assigned construction operations and contractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Major Responsibilities: : Supervises and directs Craft Professionals in construction activities within assigned area. : Perform employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for subordinate personnel. : Input craft time records using established automated tools. : Completing performance evaluations on direct reports. : Provide leadership for safety, accident and fire prevention on the project. This includes safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings. : Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices at all times in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor. : Implementation of ZERO Accident Philosophy. Ensure that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. : Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. : Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules. : Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs. : Responsible for implementing corporate project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned mechanical operations. : Coordinate established area operational plans. : Provide input to quantity tracking application and report weekly installed quantities to Lead Mechanical Superintendent. : Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables and coordinate through Procurement to obtain these materials. : Plan the manpower and equipment required to execute the job. : Perform other duties as r
