Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.Woodside Energy is Australias leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: The Craft Supervisor : Pipe/ Pipe torque and tension including Clamshell is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the Piping discipline. You will ensure assigned construction operations and contractors performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA, working night shift and day shift when the business need arises. Major Responsibilities: Leadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision up to 50 craft): : Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned. : Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft. Planning / Productivity: : Determines workforce requirements. : Coordinates established area operational plans. : Tools, Materials and Equipment Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site. : Monitor maintenance of equipment on site. : Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive. Safety and Quality: : Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. : Ensures assigned construction operations and performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. : Technical Works with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents : Oversees engineering solutions with and Foremen andCraft Professionals. Education and Experience Requirements: : Strong supervision experience including the ability to lead and manage change is desirable. : 8:10 years' experience in similar role within the Heavy Industrial Field. : Flange Management, Pre:commissioning, Oil Flushing, Air Blowing, Pigging and Drying experience is an advantage. Required Knowledge and Skills: : Displays effective communications skills crucial to motivating team members and presenting plans in a clear and concise manner. : Previous Experience with Torque and tension including clamshell cutting and flange refacing.
