Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australias leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: As Electrical Field Engineer, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. Major Responsibilities: : Prepares construction drawings and sketches. : Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of as built drawings and other job plans. Material Management : Initiates requisitions for field purchases. : Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. Quantities : Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. : Reporting on daily and weekly installed quantities to Project Controls. Safety / Quality Control : Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. : Manage Project EEHA Dossier (HAVD) and associated Inspection and Test Records. Technical : Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities : Other responsibilities as designated. Education and Experience Requirements: : Requires bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and 8:10years of relevant experience or 12:14 years of relevant work experience. : Oil and Gas or LNG Project construction experience assigned as Electrical Field Engineer. : Direct Hire Experience, preferably in a lump:sum environment. Required Knowledge and Skills: : Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures. : Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), including Setroute, TEAMWorks, Aconex, DSCS, and Unifier. : Understanding of Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas (EEHA) and related Australian Standards. : Excellent problem:solving ability.
