Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Woodside Energy is Australias leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: Bechtel is now accepting applications for an Health and Safety or Environmental Science Gradaute to join our Pluto Project based in our Karratha office. Education and Experience Requirements: : Applicants must have (or be about to complete) an Environmental Science Bachelor's degree at an accredited university : Be an Australian citizen or have the right to permanently work and remain in Australia without sponsorship, and, : Be able to pass any pre:employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check. Required Knowledge and Skills: : Strong analytical and problem:solving skills : Sound communication and teamwork abilities : Eagerness to learn and work in a fast:paced environment : A proactive attitude and a passion for making a difference : Mobility, flexibility, and the desire to work on construction projects locally, regionally and interstate : High degree of passion and ambition to work in the construction industry and help transform communities and change landscapes Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
