Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to 225 Terajoules per day.Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.Woodside Energy is Australias leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: The HSE and Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning on the Pluto Train 2 Project. This dynamic position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, environment, and training programs. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail:oriented, and passionate about promoting a safe and productive work environment. Major Responsibilities: Health, Safety, Environment, and Training (HSE and T): : Deliver impactful trainingelements and modules as per the Project's HSE Training Management Plan. : Develop, maintain, and updateHSE and T project documentation to ensure compliance and relevance. : Manage and coordinateHSE and T project reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. : Report conformanceto the HSE and T Management Plans on a monthly basis, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement. : Ensure competencyfor project personnel working in prescribed occupations and/or operating prescribed occupation plant and high:risk activities. : Assist in maintainingthe HSE and T project registers, ensuring all data is up:to:date and accurate. : Verify and assesssubcontractor conformance to Health, Safety, Environment, and training plans. : Participate in reviewof corrective actions and lessons learnt to help minimise recurrence or repetition of non:conformance or incidents. : Coordinate and facilitateengaging HSE campaigns and initiatives that drive safety awareness and participation. : Coordinate the training schedulesfor the project, ensuring all training needs are met efficiently. : Engage Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)for HSE training requirements, fostering strong partnerships. : Support the day:to:day activitiesof elected RTOs providing HSE training, ensuring high:quality delivery. : Support developmentof innovative training materials and presentations. : Support all aspectsof the
