Applicants should have demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining protective security in a Defence or Defence Industry role. This role will be based in Williamtown, NSW.  As a Security Advisor, you will: Support Boeing Defence Australia and its customers in the day-to-day operations and support of program security requirements, responsibilities and compliance activities; Develop and maintain relationships with customers and Boeing staff; Manage daily and reactive security administrative tasks set by the Senior Security Advisor and Global Security function; Support the program in management of Boeing assets and facilities; Deliver Security briefings and training sessions regularly; Provide protective security advice to the program supporting management of secure areas; and Support Emergency Management activities within the Williamtown region. To be successful in this role you should have: Experience working as a Defence Security Specialist in a large Defence Industry prime contractor or with the Australian Department of Defence is preferred but not essential; General understanding of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), ASIO Tech Notes, and security practices and procedures relating to high security locations and programs; Understanding of Australian Government Classified Information management; Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with the leadership team and other employees; Current Defence Security Officer Course, or the ability to quickly attain; and A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Australian Government Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
