Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with good communication, leadership and client interfacing skills, with demonstrated experience in delivery of brownfields, bulk materials reclaimers / balance machines packages, either as part of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or EPCM / EPC organisation. Weekly in:person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. Major Responsibilities: : Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the mechanical engineering work on project which include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications. : Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates Mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures : Designs and specifies mechanical system using advanced mechanical calculation and modelling, and within the requirements of the relevant regulations and Australian Standards : Specific knowledge of the design, supply and installation processes for rail mounted stockyard machines, and particular knowledge of the application of the standards: AS4324 : MOBILE EQUIPMENT FOR CONTINUOUS HANDLING OF BULK MATERIALS; and FEM Section II : RULES FOR THE DESIGN OF MOBILE EQUIPMENT FOR CONTINUOUS HANDLING OF BULK MATERIALS : Originates and checks complex mechanical engineering deliverables, specifications, and material requisitions : Analyzes problems with conflicting design req
