Position: Poultry Farm Manager Wage: CAD$35.00 Types: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 30~40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: · Manage the overall poultry farms'/hatcheries' chick/turkey sorting operations; · Hire and manage chick/turkey sorting staff · Evaluate work performance at poultry farms/hatcheries · Evaluate quality control and sorting records · Communicate with poultry farms'/hatcheries' managements regarding contracts and sorting related matters · Establish a marketing program · Develop and keep financial records · Purchase and maintain necessary equipment and supplies · Collect data and use digital technology tools and equipment to enhance operations Job Requirements: · Completion of secondary school; · 2-3 years of poultry farming experience obtained as a poultry farm/chick sorting supervisor required. · A university degree or college diploma in agricultural management or other field related to poultry production an asset.
