Jayambe Holding Corporation. O/A Thriftlodge Hotel has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Officer (NOC: 13100) at our location in Cochrane, Ontario.
As an Administrative Officer (NOC: 13100), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, continually reviewing and evaluating them to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing new procedures as needed.
· Establish work priorities, delegate tasks to office support staff, and ensure that deadlines are met and procedures are followed effectively.
· Manage administrative activities associated with business.
· Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records, ensuring compliance with government access to information and privacy legislation when processing requests.
· Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security services.
· Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting, project planning, and management processes.
· Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
· Collect and assemble data to prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
· May supervise records management related staff members.
Qualifications:
· Completion of Secondary School is required.
· A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration may be required.
· 1 to 2 years of experience in senior clerical or executive secretarial positions related to office administration is required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $28.50/hour
