As a Policy Advisor/Senior Policy Advisor, you will: :Support the Public Policy Lead in identifying public policy priorities, shaping policy positions, and developing and implementing strategies to ensure Deloitte is a leading voice on the policy issues that matter to our clients and the future of the country :Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of policy advisors and researchers to generate public policy analysis and insight by way of briefs, papers and presentations :Scan and analyze key trends and emerging issues for their public policy and business implications by coordinating and collaborating with relevant experts and practitioners within our firm and across our global network :Support the execution of our government relations strategy to ensure that Deloitte thought leadership and insights reach our desired audiences :Cultivate, leverage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in public policy and politics :Support the FCC's operations by supporting the planning, activation and dissemination of our work internally and externally, organizing external policy dialogues on key topics, tracking key performance indicators and metrics and organizing opportunities for Deloitte leaders to share insights About the team The Future of Canada Centre (FCC) is Deloitte's thought leadership and public policy program. We facilitate an exploration of new ideas, viewpoints, and insights about our country's most important national issues. Our goal is to help propel Canada into a new age of growth and competitiveness. We are known for new and unique points of view and policy analysis excellence. Our work supports and represents Deloitte's Purpose of Making an impact that matters and advances the public interest. The FCC has two intertwined focuses in service of our firm, our clients, and the country. We develop and mobilize original research that provides insights for businesses, governments, organizations, and Canadians on a broad spectrum of topics. And we coordinate public policy activities across the firm and develop and advance policy positions on priority issues for our firm. We are looking for a Policy Advisor/Senior Policy Advisor (Consultant or Senior Consultant) to join our team for a period of 12 months.
