Location: Burnaby, BC Wage: $22.00 per hour Hours: 30-40 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Supervisor (Mobile Division) to oversee security operations, coordinate staff, and ensure compliance with security procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting patrols, managing security personnel, and implementing effective security measures to maintain a safe environment. Key Responsibilities · Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of all security staff within the department. · Conduct patrols, alarm investigations, and other security-related activities. · Assume responsibility for assigned programs, projects, or department-wide functions and activities. · Coordinate activities with client employees, departments, and contractors. · Serve as the first point of contact for the assigned shift, prepare and administer shift briefings, assign patrol assignments, and supervise staff. · Conduct personnel and equipment inspections. · Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit appropriate reports. · Analyze information and evaluate results to determine the best security solutions. · Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, including completing training checklists and testing. · Review and assess the quality of work performed by mobile security staff through patrol records and reports. · Ensure proper functioning of security tools and systems, identifying maintenance and repair needs. · Continuously review assigned activities, identify potential security risks, and recommend improvements. · Maintain a professional image for the department, company, and clients. · Identify opportunities to enhance customer service and operational efficiency. · Attend and complete all required training as assigned. · Review, audit, and process security alarm responses and daily occurrence reports. · Follow up with individual security officers regarding their performance.
