The Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, Womens Ambulatory Clinics, the Admitting Clerk performs a variety of reception and clerical duties required for the efficient operation of the unit. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: data entry (in:patient and outpatient registration, admission, discharge, transfer and pre:registrations); required transport functions, in accordance with unit and IWK Health policies; ordering and maintaining supplies; specific auditing functions; Point Pleasant Lodge reservations; arranging for shift coverage. Hours of Work Day shift; Monday to Friday Your Qualifications : Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. : Completion of a recognized office administration program an asset. : Previous experience in a similar role preferred. : Demonstrated accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required.
