The Opportunity The Licensed Practical Nurse is a member of the Clinical Team, collaborating in the delivery of care to meet the needs of patients/families in the Ambulatory Clinic setting (including but not limited to General Gynaecology, Uro: Gynaecology , Reproductive Endocrinology). The LPN is responsible and accountable to the public for his/her own practice according to the standards defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia and the policies, standards and procedures of the IWK Health Centre. The LPN may, at times, be reassigned within the Childbirth and Women's Health Care Team and will remain flexible and willing to cross train within the Team consistent with the philosophy, objectives, mission and vision statement of the IWK Health Centre. Shift flexibility is required to meet the operational needs of the women being serviced within this care team.
