Join us, and together, lets shape a brighter future for B.C. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail:orientated Employee Services Co:op to join our People Services department. This role will provide administrative support to the Employee Services team in the areas of pensions, payroll, compensation, reporting, employee records and benefits. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and contribute to our team's success. Responsibilities :Handle incoming email, forms, mail and phone calls. Prepare employment verification letters. :Update employee records and complete follow:ups and reminders. Execute or action routine reports. :Support with remittances, invoicing pension and benefit enrolments and year:end processes. :Complete or audit tasks related to the employee life:cycle including onboarding and offboarding of employees. :Support document management including transitioning historical employee files from paper to electronic. :Perform other ad hoc duties as required. Requirements Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a relevant degree program (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration). Experience in pensions, benefits, payroll or reporting is an asset. Other Qualifications :Excellent organizational and communication skills. :Proficient in data entry and time management, ensuring employee information is consistently accurate and up:to:date. :General HR knowledge on policies and procedures, :Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SharePoint and SAP experience is an asset. :Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy guidelines for sensitive information.
