Chilliwack, BC, V2R 4P5 Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description Set up, program and operate one or more of the following woodworking machines: Lumber Package Saw, Moulder, Survey stake machine, Round wood pointer domer machine, Double end tenon machine, Multi-rip saw machine, Lumber trimsaw machines, Grinding machine (sharpening moulder + cutter head knives), Fence post drill machine, Wood stain machine, Pallet stacker machine, nail gun at wood pallet, and wood nursery rack assembly stations. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment (pre-use inspections) Replace parts as required Ensure finished wood products are completed according to work orders and apply banding, strapping, dunnage as directed Perform maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment including but not limited to cleaning, lubrication, grinding and profiling Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
