As a summer student as acage wash clerkfor our Toxicologyteam located at the Lavalsite, you will be responsible for the welfare of all our research animals. Your success will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our preclinical studies. In this role, primary responsibilitiesinclude: :Wash study equipment (e.g., cages, toys, bowls) manually with a garden hose and using the industrial cage washer. :Put away clean equipment. :Wash study linens (e.g., cut:resistant gloves, sheets) using the industrial washer and dryer. :Perform cleaning tasks in the vivarium (e.g., sweeping, mopping the floor with the Zamboni). :Refill PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) stations. :Prepare animal enrichment.
