Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations of the facility to assure a safe and productive work environment free of any liabilities or defects. Develop and manage within the manufacturing budget. Responsible to execute daily production plan. Monitors Quality and quantity of output; takes appropriate action, including shutdown of process, to prevent scrap and assists others in investigations to determine causes of quality defects. Optimize manufacturing efficiency through flexible manufacturing structure, improvement through Lean Manufacturing methods within operations and optimize production utilization and Strategy. Maintain a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committed role model for our Company's Values. Establish and maintain appropriate internal capabilities and strengthen the organization (Succession Planning) through training, career development opportunities and recruiting as necessary to achieve Manufacturing objectives.
