Hatch is currently seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineering Student to join our Water team in Oakville, Ontario who will apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices to the organizations products and services. The student will plan, schedule and conduct technical engineering assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. As the successful candidate, you will: :Assist engineers and technologists with project execution during all project phases. :Assist with the preparation of electrical bid and construction drawings and documents for various projects. :Apply fundamentals and engineering tools to design normal and emergency power distribution, communication, life safety, lighting, instrumentation, and control systems. :Accompany staff during visits to construction sites and report on observations. :Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and subconsultants on multidisciplinary projects.
