The Function partners with Corporate and Investment Banking sector teams, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets and other product areas to provide in:depth analysis, drive idea generation, strengthen financing recommendations and help identify ancillary business opportunities. Focus areas include: debt capacity analysis, capital structure optimization to achieve financial and/or credit rating objectives, rating agency process facilitation and outcome management for inaugural and existing issuers. The Function has been building its team to deliver on its global mandate. Position Highlights The team is looking for an Analyst or an Associate. Members of the team enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment in which they will be involved in a broad range of transactions. The job is responsible for supporting senior members of the team in the generation of new business opportunities, as well as successfully executing. At the early stages of their career, the candidate will focus on financial modeling, research, credit ratings analysis, capital structure benchmarking and assisting in preparing client presentations. As the individual's career progresses, the candidate will take on increased responsibilities on live assignments and participating in business development under the guidance of senior group members. On any given project, you will interact with other departments of the firm such as Corporate Banking, Investment Banking sector teams, Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Capital Markets, and Equity Capital Markets, gaining knowledge and understanding of both investment banking and the capital markets.
