Job Description Job Duties: : Under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment. : Receives cable and carries out basic tests. : Uses hipot machine to make basic repairs and learns how to splice cable. : Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field. : Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. : This is an entry level position where the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties. Qualifications: : High school diploma or equivalent required. : Previous experience preferred but willing to train. : Must have a current and valid drivers license and be able to provide a copy of drivers abstract. : The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. : Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. : Basic computer skills are preferred.
