Job Title: Computer Technician (NOC 22220) Position Available:1 Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $31.5/hr, 30 hours/week Job Responsibilities: -Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs}, wide area networks (WANs}, mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. -Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs, etc., ensuring optimum performance and security. -Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software, monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and security breaches. -Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the network. -Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, bandwidth issues, and security breaches. -Respond to network emergencies and implement solutions promptly, perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
