Job Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies Set up and oversee buffets Train kitchen staff. Follow sanitation procedures and ensure cleanliness of food preparation areas. Inspect kitchen and food service areas. Assist in introducing new dishes in the menu.
