Position: Financial Analyst (NOC-11101) Location of work: 150 John Street, 5th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3E3 Remote work availability: No Salary: $75000 Annually Minimum 37.5 Number of Positions - 1 Job duties and responsibilities not limited to: · Coordinate between Finance and Partner Managers to provide the forecasted spend and post month-end variance analysis · Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts · Support for the preparing, operating, forecasting and budgeting process · Work on special projects and reporting as needed · Validate and process credit memos related to channel marketing and promotions · Support Accounts Receivables in relation to credit memos and discrepancies · Develop strategies for managing both short- and long-term cash flows, and evaluate financial performance regularly. Additionally, create and update a risk profile as needed. · Continuously refine and implement policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to effectively manage liabilities with retailers. · Period-end journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations · Create processes around marketplace channels to provide scalable operations · Streamline processes and create controls surrounding the areas of responsibility · Prepare sell-thru analytics to estimate expected promotional lift and total discounting spends · Responsible for analyzing and reporting on channel marketing spend and providing insight for cost per acquisition · Drive insight to support strategic initiatives on marketing and discounting strategies across various retail and ecommerce channels Follow up on financing projects with financial backers · Perform post-mortem analysis on big discounting periods · Develop, implement and use tools for managing and analyzing financial portfolio Skill requirements for the position (including education and work experience): 1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, accounting, finance, economics or related is required 2. Completion of Master's degree in business administration in finance is an assets. 3. The Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Professional Accountant or Certified Treasury Professional designation is an assets 4. At least 3 years of experience as financial analyst, accounting analyst, bookkeeper or relevant experience is required 5. Ability to multi-task, remain cool and keep up in a fast-paced environment. 6. Excellent, interpersonal and communication experience, verbal, written and administrative skills.
