We are always striving to build a better team and a better work environment through continuing efforts in the areas of safety, education, and personal development.?JOB SUMMARY The Groundskeeper and Farm Hand is responsible for performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of needed repairs and general lawn maintenance and landscaping. As well as performing other general farm duties.?DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGroundskeeper duties:Maintains outside grounds.Removes snow, ice, and debris.Sprays and removes weeds.Cut and water grass.Operate lawn maintenance equipment and small machinery.Tends to any gardens and greenery.Plans and prioritizes an efficient maintenance schedule.Determines needed supplies and equipment.Monitors needs for equipment maintenance and repair.Responsible to report inventory of materials and supplies.Other duties as assigned.?Farm Hand duties: Assist with planting, seeding, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops.Operate and maintain various farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, tillage equipment, planting equipment, fertilizer applicators, combine harvesters, etc.Perform daily safety checks of machinery.Assist with farm equipment maintenance as required. (If operating vehicles)General farm duties as assigned.?SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSExperience: 1+ year(s) experience with lawn maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, general labourer, or related field.Previous experience operating hand tools such as a chainsaw, jigsaw.Valid G Class Driver?s License is required.?Skills: Troubleshooting.Quality control.Attention to detail.Agricultural equipment and vehicle operation an asset.Demonstrates professionalism during customer interactions.?Abilities: Ability to kneel, bend, reach, twist, sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time.Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions.Arm-Hand SteadinessManual DexterityControl PrecisionMulti-limb coordinationFinger dexteritySound discrimination?Interested in joining our Team?
