The school's comprehensive program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Junior Hockey Coach to join our team and help our players develop their skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate deep technical knowledge of the game as well as ability to motivate their team to work harder and improve their skills. Key responsibilities: · Plan and conduct engaging training and practice sessions · Provide individual and group instruction to enhance players' technical skills and tactical understanding · Establish rules for the team and players · Design, organize, and manage competitive schedules and training programs · Inspire and equip athletes or teams for competitive events and matches · Create game plans and strategies for the team to use in competition · Scout opponents, analyze game footage, and develop game plans and strategies tailored to each opponent Requirements: · High School Diploma is required · At least 1 year of experience as a hockey coach is required · Educational diploma in Physical Education is an asset · Good command in English language, both written and oral · Ability to motivate players · Effective leadership and communication skills Compensation and conditions: · Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 35 weekly work hours · The remuneration will be set at CAD$28.50 per hour · Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week · Address: 1107 Finch Ave West, 2nd Floor, North York, ON M3J 2P7 · A chance to make a meaningful impact on young athletes' lives · Opportunity to work with a passionate and supportive team How to apply: Candidates ready to bring their passion for hockey and coaching to the team are encouraged to apply.
