NOC Code: 73300 Job Title: Long Haul Truck driver Company Name: 1309018 B.C LTD Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Job Location: 1101 Kalamalka Lake Rd, Vernon, BC Salary: $28.00 per hour Start date: As soon as possible Requirements: Ability to understand basic · Fulltime availability · Completion of Secondary School · No experience Job Duties: · Take inventory of loaded goods in order to make sure that the correct quantity is loaded · · Drive and operate Tractor trailer, long combination vehicle to transport goods to long distance. · · Ensure that any damaged products are reported and documented properly · · Transport goods over long distances; check on cargo at every stop during the long haul · · Make sure that the truck is in proper working condition before setting off · · Perform regular and preventative maintenance on the truck prior to setting off · · Check tire pressure and ensure that there is enough fuel · · Use GPS and/or maps to chart out the best route which is time and fuel-efficient · · Ensure that all documentation pertaining to traveling between states or Canada is in order · · Record freight information along with distance traveled and fuel consumption · · Ensure that goods are delivered to the right destination · · Assist with unloading goods and ensure quantity checks · · Receive and relay information to company's dispatcher · · Obtain signatures from the party to whom the goods have been delivered to · · Maintaining logbooks · Minimum Education: Completion of Secondary School, Experience: no experience Language: English Positions Available: 4 How to Apply: Please email your resume at j41461954@gmail.com
