About the Opportunity Reporting to the P3 Facilities Management Contract Manager, The P3 Facilities Management Assistant Manager assists the Manager to represent FMS for the assigned portfolio of location(s); implement standards, evaluation criteria and contractual terms related to the facility management for Public:Private Partnerships (P3) projects built under Design:Build:Finance:Maintain (DBFM) and other related models. The Assistant Manager will also work with the P3 Facilities Management Contract Manager as required, to fulfil the role as main FMS liaison with other redevelopment major capital projects as requested Responsible for supporting the P3 Facilities Management Contract Manager to manage assigned P3 facilities project agreement(s) to ensure services and infrastructure delivered by Project Co are compliant with the project agreement(s) terms and conditions and meet required service levels. May also be required to provide expert support to the Project Delivery teams during the transaction, construction, and commissioning phases of new P3 developments. Assist in managing the complex relationship with Project Co, clinical site leadership and the provincial government throughout the contract period to ensure project(s) are delivered successfully on value for money and long:term functional use commitments associated with P3 contracts. The following are some responsibilities: : Assist/support in administering the payment mechanism process and assist as required in the processing of Project Co monthly service payments for all assigned P3 projects during the concession period. The Province will process payments and control the operational budget. Ensure all processes are in line the contract management manual. : Support the transition to operations through implementation of the facility management output specifications (FMOS), payment mechanism and other relevant sections of the project agreement(s); review and confirm operating protocols and communications plans to meet the intentions of the project specific output specifications (PSOS). : Assist in evaluating Project Co's delivery strategies to ensure that they are operating consistent with the project agreement obligations and value for money approach. : In line with the P3 contract, participate in necessary audits to ensure performance and quality levels are achieved. Identify opportunities to optimize performance and bring forward appropriate s
