Our client in the GTA is seeking a Product Developer. In this position you will be responsible for the development of products within multiple product categories. Reverse engineering products for Private Label will be a large component of this position, as well as taking the project from bench through all the processes to full scale up and production in a state-of-the-art facility!Working with a newly created team/division within a high growth (established) organization and category. This is a very fast paced environment with exposure to a range of products.RESPONSIBILITIES:Create prototype formulations and submit to customer for feedback. Revise as neededDesign and development of food products / Testing of prototypesCreating samples for customers and productionDevelops and refines the processing of ingredients into food products and determines nutritional valuesDocuments ingredients, formulations and processesParticipates in sensory evaluationsRuns plants trial and responsible for full scale up – from bench to plant (dependent on production schedule)DESIRED PROFILE:3-4+ years’ proven working experience as a FOOD product developerManufacturing experience is required.Bachelor's degree in science / food science or a related field.Proficiency in MS SuiteAbility to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly.Interested in this Opportunity?
