Impeccable quality is always the reason why our customers choose us. Position Details: Lin's Roofing Inc. seeks an experienced Roofing Project Supervisor to oversee our various roofing projects. The Roofing Project Supervisor will play an integral role in ensuring the efficient and on-schedule completion of roofing projects. The Roofing Project Supervisor role will be involved in all aspects of pre-construction and construction from start to finish. The Roofing Project Supervisor will work out of our office at 380 Wellington St, Tower B, 6th Floor, Suite 636, London, Ontario, N6A 5B5. This is a permanent full-time position of 35 to 40 hours of work per week, with an offered salary of $37 to $39 per hour based on qualifications. Responsibilities: · Participate in pre-construction project planning, including project estimates, feasibility, permit requirements, milestone and delivery timeframes, materials and labour cost budgeting, personnel scheduling, and roofing construction specifications. · Supervise the execution of Lin's Roofing Inc.'s roofing construction projects, ensuring adherence to planned specifications, progress milestones and completion deadlines, and project budgets. · Coordinate and schedule the work of the project team, including roofing installers, shinglers, contractors, suppliers, and other tradespeople. · Hire contractors and tradespeople as needed for roofing projects. · Ensure all employees and workers are trained on proper work and safety procedures. · Supervise and motivate roofing workers to maximize their performance. · Closely monitor project progress, identify issues and implement corrective actions to ensure projects remain on track. · Assess and manage risk factors that can impact the successful completion and delivery of a roofing project. · Monitor construction KPIs, recommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives for improved productivity and quality. · Establish and manage all project documentation, including contracts, plans, requisition orders, change orders, site instructions, and progress reports. · Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure they are kept updated at all times on project progress, completion of milestones, potential delays and issues, and project completion date. · Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to company management on a timely basis. · Resolve client complaints by determining if there are deficiencies and schedule for warranty repairs. · Develop an after-sales program, including client satisfaction surveys and improvement recommendations. · Approve requisition orders and ensure costs fall within planned budgets. · Promote a work culture of safety, cooperation, efficiency, and high quality standards. Requirements: Education: · Completion of secondary school. Experience: · At least five years of experience in project management and team supervision with a focus on project coordination and client relations. · At least five years of experience in the construction or real estate industries. · Familiar with managing and overseeing projects of varying sizes and complexities. · Experienced in developing and implementing continuous improvement actions that improve productivity and efficiency. · Familiar with project risk management, budget planning and forecasting, inventory control, personnel scheduling, progress monitoring, and issue resolution. · Experienced in working with a wide variety of personnel and coordinating their activities. · Experienced in liaising with clients and resolving their concerns and complaints. · Able to coordinate multiple ongoing projects with both internal and external stakeholders. Skills: · Excellent communication skills with project teams, clients, and other relevant stakeholders. · Strong planning, execution, management, and problem resolution skills. · Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is an asset but not a requirement. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
