We promote leaders at every level and support our people to follow their passion.?16 Months Contract Role?What you'll do:?Support and assist the Regional Maintenance Manager & Assistant Manager in the below functions:Lead the safety culture within the area and ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and proceduresConsistently monitor and report on fleet utilization and downtimeWork with local management to streamline completion of equipmentAudit DVIR reporting and ensure all noted deficiencies are dealt with accordinglyWork with regional management to ensure PM compliance is current and consistentManage area specific fleet related Invoice entry, review & approvalMaintain preventative maintenance of transport equipment.Maintain records in areas of maintenance repairs, safety, environmental and audits.Plan and maintain PM services and Annual Inspections on trailers, reefer and tractors.Monitors maintenance and upkeep data to ensure low operating costs.Ensure all purchase orders are completed and closed in a timely matter.Follow up with after-hours calls daily to ensure assets are up and running next day.Manage Claims for equipment damage for west and FaaS?What you bring:?Must have strong organizational, project planning and supervisory skills.Previous experience in administration & purchasing is a definite asset.Previous supervisory experience in transportationExperience in transport equipment, with a good working knowledge reefers, trailers, and tractorsA knowledge of general transport maintenance?Loblaw is committed to sustainability by sourcing products with integrity and making a positive difference in the community.
