Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.  Please note Loblaw's Return to Office Policy, is 4 days in the office Sr. Specialist, Pension and Actuarial - Toronto What You'll Do:Day to day administration support of our pension and savings programs:Review and respond to pension issues and member queriesSpecial case calculations and executive administrationReview and audit of work performed by vendors including benefit calculations and annual statementsMember presentations and member communication Pension funding and actuarial support:Review of actuarial funding valuation reports and updates on funded positionsPlan funding analysis and strategyCostings including DB and DC projections Governance and regulatory Compliance:Review of plan amendments and plan documentsEnsure plans comply with regulation including plan filings and any changes to regulations and actuarial requirementsSupport of US plans, as required Other responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board meeting materialsSpecial project workLiaise with our business partners, relevant stakeholders, service providers and vendors. What You Bring:5 10 years of actuarial pension and administration experienceExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong actuarial knowledge and understanding of pension legislationWork effectively in a team environment, and contributes to a positive, effective team atmosphere.Possess a strong work ethic, is responsive and reliable Our commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
