The successful candidate will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all transportation-related activities to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods and exceptional customer service. This position also involves managing staff, coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and being on-call for urgent issues. Key Responsibilities: · Plan, organize, direct, and control freight traffic operations · Coordinate, arrange, and monitor transportation and movement of goods · Dispatch pickups and deliveries to drivers · Ensure accurate and timely data entry of shipment and logistics information · Oversee shipping documentation and tracking of goods · Coordinate Canadian shipments and trace deliveries to meet customer schedules · Communicate with customers regarding order status and updates · Develop transportation and storage procedures · Provide after-hours support for urgent customer or shipment issues
