Location of Work: 38 Haniak Rd, Rosslyn Village, ON, P7K 0C8 Title of Position: Welder-fitter (NOC 72106) Language: English Vacancies: 1 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Job Duties: · Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications. · Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. · Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal. · Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW). · Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG, TIG and Flux-Core. · Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines. · Determine weldability of materials · Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. · Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. · Previous fitting experience.
