Job Location: 3907 - 15th Avenue, Prince George, BC, V2N 1A5 Position: Bookkeeper (Permanent, Full-Time) Vacancies: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wage Rate: $29 per hour Hours Per Week: 30-40 hours WHAT WE OFFER Two weeks of paid vacation per year Five paid sick days Comprehensive training and professional development Opportunities for growth within the company A supportive and friendly work environment JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: College program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience Language: Proficiency in English Technical Skills (preferred): Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Spreadsheets QuickBooks or other accounting software KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process payroll and prepare employee paycheques Calculate fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules Maintain financial records using manual and computerized systems Establish, balance, and reconcile various accounts Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements Post journal entries and track adjustments Prepare tax returns and government remittances (GST, PST, etc.) Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required Prepare trial balance of books Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts Assist with budgeting and year-end financial preparation WORK SETTING On-site, full-time, daytime hours HOW TO APPLY If you're excited to join a growing company and contribute your skills, we would love to hear from you!
