Description The DG Compliance Coordinator is highly motivated and able to work independently. This role will provide dangerous goods support to the DG Program and Regulatory Manager as well as the entire DG team. Responsibilities will include following up on unbillable mistakes made by DG Specialists during their discrepancy reporting. Follow up will include problem solving systemic input errors by DG Specialists. This role will dialogue with customers regarding their noncompliant shipments, and will provide analysis and detail on issues.. The coordinator will track and control the noncompliant fee collection. This role will also provide visual management analysis of the inspections completed by DG consultants and regional managers. The coordinator will be a trouble shooter and problem solver for reconciling records and conflicting information. The coordinator will be in charge of triaging all incoming requests for customer approvals, and will track the status of customer approvals. Occasionally the role will be involved in onboarding customers. The role includes Incident report follow up and support across Canada for all high visibility incidents. This role will control ISO documents. This role will record and track KPI results supplied by the DG team. The compliance coordinator will support the DG team during roll out of projects. Responsibilities This role will complete a number of administrative tasks that support the dangerous goods portfolio. These activities include the following administrative needs for the department: : Accruals: due at scheduled month:end dates published by Accounts Payable : Other tasks include accounts payable as well the creation of POs for the dangerous goods department. : Distribution of documents, information as required to internal stakeholders. : Ministry of Environment Reporting : due quarterly for New Brunswick ECA, due annually for Ontario ECA. : Reports need to be requested from Customer Reporting department. Once received the information needs to : be reviewed, manipulated, and formatted to fit a PDF file. : This role may be required to perform miscellaneous administrative duties such as account payables and cost : allocations from time to time. : Creating monthly updates and associated presentations : Assisting with the onboarding/offboarding of employees (employee id and access, equipment such as : computers and phones, software etc.) : Preparing correspondence, proof:reading, maintaining files (ie. Transport Canada Inspections and responses, : internal audit reports) : Deviation Permit updates and maintenance of files (managing and advising managers of expiry dates, updating : documents for approval) : Liaise with Procurement for new products, and materials (initial requests and/or contact) : Track and bring forward Equivalency Certificates or permits/authorization renewals from outside agencies that : need to be actioned. : Scheduling assistance for the staff of the Regional managers. Experience : Over 4 years and including 5 years (generally progressive experience) : Position requires experience multitasking a wide variety of administrative tasks. Some tasks will be completed with time pressure.
