We are looking to hire a Home Support Worker to Look After a Senior person in the family Employer Mr. and Mrs. Aujla Permanent Position Home Support Worker - Senior Terms of Employment Permanent, Full Time, Overtime Wage Rate $23.00/hour for 30 to 40 hours per week Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months) As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Work Location Colebrook Road Surrey, BC V3S 0L2 (Work in a private home) Education High school completion Experience Senior care or household management experience an asset Languages Basic knowledge of English Job Duties · Provide companionship and personal care as and when needed. · Prepare food to ensure that hygiene standards are met · Making bed on daily basis and changing linen as often as required · Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and other light housekeeping duties around the house etc. · Administer personal and bedside care to client such as personal hygiene and dressing and undressing. · Engage client in physical and mental exercises prescribed by the doctor. · Observe elderly for signs of concern and report them to the family on an immediate basis. · Maintain record of client's activities, behaviour and symptoms for reference purposes.
