Job Title : Long Haul Truck Drivers (NOC 73300) Vacancies : 15 positions available Terms of Employment : Full time and permanent Office Location : Unit 221-12565 88 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 3J7 Yard Location : 19283 28Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 9V2 Wage : 35.00/hour Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Will train Security and Safety Driver's validity license check Personal Suitability Flexibility, Reliability, Judgement, Team player Specific Skills · Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. · Load and unload goods. · Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. · Receive and relay information to central dispatch. · Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. · Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. · Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. · Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. · Perform brake adjustments.
