Job vacancy: Window Installer Positions available: 4 Employer: Enerstar Windows Ltd Business Address: 7531 134a street Surrey, BC V3W 7B3 Salary: 35.00 hourly Terms of employment: full-time/permanent Hours: 32 to 35 per week Education: completion of secondary school Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience Language: English Job location: various locations in lower mainland, BC Job Duties: · Review blueprints and/or work orders to determine installation requirements. · Measure and mark installation locations according to specifications. · Safely remove old windows, accurately measure, and fit new windows into prepared openings, and Secure windows in place using appropriate tools and techniques. · Install trim or molding around windows for a finished appearance. · Test installed windows for proper operation, ensuring it works smoothly according to its mechanism. · Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively to repair the window and its parts. · Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. · Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. · Perform routine maintenance on installed windows as needed. · Conduct final inspections to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. · Report any issues or challenges encountered during installations and provide feedback to supervisors or management regarding process improvements or customer feedback.
