Essential Duties : Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of heavy:duty equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner. : Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. : Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge:sharing work environment. : Technical Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency. : Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. : Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used, ensuring a thorough and organized documentation process. Training and Experience : Valid certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Coach Technician or Automotive Service Technician. : Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy:duty equipment maintenance and repair. : Strong diagnostic and problem:solving skills. : Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics. : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. : Ability to work independently and as part of a team. : Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
