What youll do As a Senior UX Designer on the Design Systems team for PTX DNA (Data and Analytics), you will be play the part of defining and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure design consistency across products. In your day:to:day, you will: - Work closely with the SAP Fiori Design Team to contribute to their existing design system and extend off it for our team's specific products - Create and define the evolution of our internal team's design system, ensuring consistency across all products and platforms - Develop guidelines, patterns, components and templates that follow and expand off SAP Fiori's core design system - Work closely with our developers, product managers, and global teams to ensure the design system is integrated and adopted effectively - Provide guidance and education on the best practices related to the design systems - Document and maintain the design system, ensuring it is well:organized and conforms to accessibility patterns - Mentor and collaborate with junior designers and mid:level designers What you bring : You are able to work hybrid from our Vancouver office 2:3 days a week. You bring experience in creating and maintaining design systems, UI libraries and design tools. You possess a robust portfolio demonstrating your proficiency in UI/UX design and user:friendly interfaces. Your deep understanding of design principles allows you to translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging designs that enhance user comprehension and interaction. Strong leadership skills enable you to mentor and inspire junior designers, driving excellence in UX design within the team and organization. You excel in collaborating with stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives, translating them into innovative and effective UX solutions. Your attention to detail ensures that every interaction aligns with usability standards and enhances the overall user experience. About You: - 5+ years of experience in design, with a strong focus on design systems - Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment - Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, user:centered design, and interaction design - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels - Ability to thrive in a fast:paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of creativity and attention to detail - Expert knowledge in industry:standard design software (e.g., Figma) - A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of design and elevate experiences to a new level - Bonus if you have experience with accessibility standards Please include your portfolio as a link or attachment in your application.
