Under the daily direction of the Distribution Center Manager, the employee performs various duties related to parts and machine distribution including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and related documentation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Assist customers (via phone or walk-in) with basic parts and machine orders. Serve as back-up for Distribution Center Coordinator for telephone inquiries regarding shipment status, etc. Forward technical sales and service inquiries to Distribution Center Manager and/or Regional Product Support Representative, respectively.Review pick tickets for parts availability and location of available parts.Forward any availability or inventory issues to Distribution Center Coordinator.Select and pack parts shipments utilizing computer generated pick tickets.Visually inspect final product for conformance to established quality standards.Verify piece count for inventory.Select the best method for shipping parts to customers and expedite shipments.Track shipments as requested.Receive parts and machines from Kuhn manufacturing locations, vendors, or other distribution centers and place in assigned inventory location.Complete required machine and parts shipping and inventory documentation.Report any discrepancies.Perform related material handling duties.Operate forklift to transport and store materials, machines & parts.Education and/or Experience - The individual must have a high school diploma or GED.  Knowledge and experience in the areas of customer service, inventory, and farm equipment is preferred.
