Project Overview: Bechtels responsibility is for the design and construction of two semiconductor fabrication (fab) facilities at a greenfield site located in New Albany, Ohio:: approximately 20 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. The selected site has been sized to support the construction of four new semiconductor fabs within the campus. The Cardinal Project is Phase 1 which covers the first two fabs and includes:Completion of the Fab/Process Specific Support Systems (PSSSs) and PSSS yards,Boiler Chiller Packages (BCPs),Ultra:Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment (WWT) building and yards,Site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) conveyance trestles Job Summary: The Workface Planner (CSA) will be responsible to prepare Installation Work Packages (IWPs), Material Take:offs (MTO)for specific disciplines and will also support office construction activities, such constructability reviews, ensuring safety in design, providing constructions input to engineering and procurement teams that improves Total Installed Cost (TIC) on the projects. Major Responsibilities: : The Workface Planner (CSA) is responsible for developing Installation work packages (IWPs) for Concrete, Structural Steel installations in addition to being accountable for developing the detailed IWP release plan (90:Day schedule) with the Responsible superintendent, Responsible Field Engineer. : The Workface Planner (CSA) will review general installation priorities and check to assure the work accomplished meets the project requirements. Reviews work scope, checking sequences, access, resources, equipment needs, pre:work, materials, and support services. : The Workface Planner (CSA) prepares the scope of the IWP in coordination with site construction team to gain approval for the IWP. : Workface Planner will perform random checking of IWP assembled by the other Workface planner. : Understand work packaging philosophy, scope of installation, Work Breakdown Structure, and scoping of installation work packages. : Monitor project schedule and ensure performance and timely delivery of IWP; coordinate with Project Controls team, pl
