Project Overview: Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of an existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices. Both scopes, PMC and EPCM, are substantial with multi:million job:hours estimated across them. This position will start as an assignment in Mumbai, India (office) prior to the receipt of the full notice to proceed from the Owner and will eventually transition to the job site for the EPC execution of the project. Job Summary: Responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the suite of Construction Automation applications to assist project site. Configures BSAPs to meet project requirements in coordination with GBU automation function. Major Responsibilities: : Supervision Received : Receives operational direction from Area Field Engineer and technical guidance from GBU Automation Manager or other assigned supervising manager. : Supervision Exercised : Provides technical direction to assigned subordinate automation engineers and contractors. : Contacts : Jobsite contacts are field engineers, superintendents, automation engineers including subcontractors. : Responsibilities : Works with Area Field Engineer to establish requirements for Construction Automation Systems.
