Project Overview: Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices. The positions on the project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane. Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for material management activities for a project or jobsite. You will ensure conformance to corporate policies including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and issue of materials and equipment. You will monitor employee utilization, work hours, and staffing. Your efforts will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely material management. Major Responsibilities: : Identify and help resolve any deviations to the Materials Management Plan and obtain approval for any changes to the plan during the execution of the Project. : Understand the materials components of the Project Automation Plan used by functional groups and monitor related data transfers between the groups. : Understand construction activities and the advance work package structure for the Project. : Ensure the material identification methodology permits accurate status and distribution of materials according to the priority and sequence of construction schedule and activities. : Work with functional groups to determine the best strategy for fabricated systems that will provide the best overall value for the Project. : Identify any "special" or potentially lengthy approval requirements that could impact the timely issuance of the ke
