Job Specification for Payments Test Analyst : Instant Payments Duration: 12 months Start Date: 3rd March 2025 Requirement: Offshore Test Analyst required for Instant Payment Project (Experienced) Overview of Experience Required: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : 4 years+ experience in a Test Analyst Role : SEPA Payments Experience a must : E2E testing experience a must : Excellent communication skills : GPPIP or GPPSP experience desirable : MQ, API, SQL/Oracle experience desirable : Jira / Confluence experience desirable : ISTQB or equivalent qualification desirable Working with onshore/offshore mixed test delivery teams, the Test Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Analysis of the Project Requirements and raising queries/defects using Static Data Testing Techniques. : Creation of functional Test Scenarios/Test Cases and identify the supporting test data. : Ensuring that all test queries are followed through and that requirements/defects are resolved with support from Test Lead. : Confirming test coverage of test scenarios via RTM. : Presenting walkthrough sessions to the business, business analyst and technical teams on test scenarios and test cases. : Execution of all test cases through Zephyr/Jira : Execute testing plans as per timelines and to a high quality. : Ensuring own test execution goals are met and communicating blocking issues to test lead. : Follow defect management and triaging process : Raise defects, retest defects and ensure defects are resolved. : Identify associated regression to ensure thorough retesting of defects : Provide inputs on status and closure reports. : Raise requests for support from dev teams and other stakeholders. : Being proactive in resolving issues. : Excellent communication skills : within and outside of the organization, across teams, with customers and different stakeholder types. : A good team player and ready to take up additional responsibilities if required. Technical skills: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px: : Experience in testing backend application components like SQLServer, Oracle database, middleware message queues (IBM MQ) : Hands:on Experience in writing SQL queries : Have worked in an E2E, multi:tiered, multi:application environment.
