Job Summary: Should have experience on basic and detailed design on Infrastructure, Energy and M and M projects. Has a good knowledge of Electrical Physical design, the principles, and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating with other technical disciplines. Candidate should have exposure to Indian, US, Euro and other international codes/standards and local practices. Within discipline develops designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures and plant arrangements under supervision.Plans and executes the presentation of these in detailed scale models. Major Responsibilities: : Leads or administers work of Electrical designers and drafters for a business line technology to include the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2:D and 3:D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings. : Proficient in S3D modelling : Equipment modelling, Raceway, Grounding and lighting. : Develops designfor complete and complex Electrical engineering systems such as earthwork, drainage, road design, foundation, and steel detailing with minimum supervision from which detailed scale models and/or construction drawings are completed.Ensures Electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards. : Assists in constructing detailed scale models. : Prepares or assists with the preparation of assigned material requisitions and bid evaluations. : Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved Electrical design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy. : Participates in constructability reviews. : Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort. : Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents. : Reviews Electrical design scope changes, as required, for project management. : Ensures Electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards. : Works with designers in other disciplines to co:ordinate overall design and technic
