Class 2 Driver Flannery Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our transport team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of plant machinery and equipment to and from our depots, customer sites, and construction locations across the region. Key Responsibilities * Safely load, transport, and unload plant equipment, adhering to all road safety and load security regulations. * Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all defects are reported promptly. * Maintain accurate delivery/collection records and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed. * Provide excellent customer service on-site and represent Flannery Plant Hire professionally at all times. * Assist with basic maintenance or inspection of equipment as needed. * Comply with all company policies, health&safety standards, and site requirements. * Liaise closely with the Transport Manager and Depot teams for route planning and updates. Requirements * Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. * Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card. * Proven experience transporting plant machinery or similar loads preferred. * Knowledge of load securing, safety restraints, and HGV regulations. * Good geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate effectively. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Flexible and willing to work occasional early starts or extended hours as needed. * CPCS / NPORS ticket is
